Description
Description
Mādhunāśa is formulated for the body whose metabolic rhythm has been disrupted — by diet, by stress, by years of imbalance.
Its classical basis is Prameha Chikitsa — Ayurveda's systematic approach to metabolic disorders rooted in Kapha imbalance and Agni weakness. Every herb in this 22-ingredient formula is selected for a specific metabolic role: clearing accumulated Ama, kindling digestive fire, supporting the pancreas, regulating glucose absorption, rebuilding tissue integrity.
Prepared through Bhāvanā, the 12 herb powders are saturated with 10 herbal infusions — including Vijaysar, Chiraita, and Shatavari — that integrate at depth. This is not a capsule of mixed powders.
Not a correction. A restoration.

What is Gudmar — and why does Mādhunāsa centre on it?
What is Gudmar — and why does Mādhunāsa centre on it?
Gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre) is known in Sanskrit as “the sugar destroyer.” Not metaphorically — Gudmar contains gymnemic acids that temporarily block sweet taste receptors on the tongue and, more importantly, reduce glucose absorption in the intestines.
In classical Ayurveda, Gudmar is a primary Prameha herb — specifically referenced for Madhumeha (the Ayurvedic category corresponding to diabetes-type metabolic disorders). It supports the pancreas, helps regulate glucose absorption, and over regular use, helps recalibrate the body’s relationship with sweetness.
At 60 mg in Mādhunāsa’s powder base, Gudmar works alongside Jamun Seed (150 mg) and Karela (90 mg) — three herbs with complementary and synergistic glucose-support mechanisms.
This is not a single-herb supplement dressed up with extras.
Every herb in this formula has a specific role. Gudmar is central.
What’s inside — and why?
What’s inside — and why?
22 ingredients. Every one text-referenced in classical Prameha Chikitsa. Every dose is deliberate.
12 HERB POWDER ENTRIES
Jamun (Syzygium cumini) — 150 mg · HIGHEST DOSE
Classical Prameha herb #1. Jamun seed supports glucose metabolism and helps regulate post-meal sugar spikes. Revered in Ayurveda for its astringent action on the pancreatic channels.
Karela (Momordica charantia) — 90 mg
Contains compounds structurally similar to insulin. Supports healthy glucose uptake and cellular energy metabolism. Classical bitter Prameha herb.
Haridra / Turmeric (Curcuma longa) — 75 mg
Systemic anti-inflammatory and metabolic support. Supports insulin sensitivity and helps reduce the chronic low-grade inflammation that underlies metabolic imbalance.
Jaiphal / Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) — 75 mg
Deepana herb — kindles digestive Agni. Supports the metabolic fire that is typically weak in Prameha conditions.
Gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre) — 60 mg
The “sugar destroyer.” Reduces glucose absorption in the intestines. Supports pancreatic function and helps recalibrate sweet taste perception over time.
Neem (Azadirachta indica) — 60 mg
Bitter Shodhana herb. Supports blood purification and helps clear Ama from the metabolic channels. Also present as Bhāvanārth infusion — doubled presence in the formula.
Methi / Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) — 60 mg
Rich in soluble fibre that slows carbohydrate absorption. Supports insulin sensitivity and post-meal glucose balance. One of the most well-researched herbs in this space.
Bilva (Aegle marmelos) — 45 mg
Classical Prameha herb for pancreatic support and digestive channel clarity. Underused and underappreciated in modern formulations.
Devdaru (Cedrus deodara) — 45 mg
Alpine anti-Kapha herb. Supports the metabolic clearance that is compromised in Kapha-dominant Prameha conditions.
Sh. Shilajeet (Asphaltum punjabianum) — 30 mg
Classical Rasayana mineral. Supports cellular energy metabolism and helps restore mitochondrial vitality that is depleted in chronic metabolic imbalance. A premium ingredient rarely found at this price point.
Sh. Guggulu (Commiphora wightii) — 30 mg
Anti-inflammatory resin. Supports lipid metabolism and helps clear the atherogenic Ama that often accompanies blood sugar imbalance. Classical Medodhatu herb.
Mamejava (Enicostema littorale) — 30 mg
A rare and specific Prameha herb — one of the least-known in modern D2C formulations but among the most classically referenced. Supports pancreatic and glucose channel function directly.
10 BHĀVANĀRTH INFUSIONS (50 MG EACH)
The following herbs are used exclusively as processing infusions — saturating the powder base during Bhāvanā trituration. Their active compounds integrate at depth, not as surface additions.
- Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia) — immunomodulator, metabolic tonic
- Neem (Azadirachta indica) — also in powder base; doubled Shodhana action
- Vijaysar (Pterocarpus marsupium) — classical Prameha wood; supports lipid and glucose metabolism
- Chiraita (Swertia chirata) — bitter tonic; supports liver and pancreatic function
- Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) — Deepana, anulomana; kindles Agni
- Bibhitika (Terminalia bellirica) — Triphala component; digestive and metabolic tonic
- Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) — Rasayana anchor; systemic rejuvenator
- Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) — hormonal and metabolic balance; supports tissue restoration
- Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) — urinary and metabolic support
- Daruharidra (Berberis aristata) — liver and metabolic detox; bitter Shodhana herb
What is Prameha — and why does it matter for Mādhunāsa?
What is Prameha — and why does it matter for Mādhunāsa?
Prameha is the classical Ayurvedic category of metabolic disorders characterised by excess Kapha, weakened Agni, and the accumulation of Ama in the metabolic channels (Srotasas).
Modern Type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes map closely to Madhumeha — the most advanced form of Prameha in classical texts. But Prameha begins long before a diabetes diagnosis. It begins with weakened digestive fire, irregular metabolism, sweet cravings, fatigue after meals, and sluggish elimination.
Mādhunāsa is formulated from the classical Prameha Chikitsa framework — the systematic Ayurvedic approach to metabolic disorders. This is not a “blood sugar supplement” assembled from trending herbs. Every ingredient is selected for a specific role in the Prameha protocol:
- Kapha-reducing bitter herbs (Gudmar, Neem, Karela, Chiraita)
- Agni-kindling herbs (Methi, Jaiphal, Bilva, Haritaki)
- Ama-clearing herbs (Guggulu, Devdaru, Daruharidra)
- Rasayana rebuilders (Shilajeet, Amalaki, Shatavari, Vijaysar)
The sequence matters. The depth of Bhāvanā processing matters.
This is Prameha Chikitsa — not a quick blood sugar fix.

Frequently Asked Questions
A few thoughtful answers to help you understand how JeevRasa formulations are prepared and how they are intended to support long-term wellbeing.
What makes JeevRasa different from other Ayurvedic brands?
JeevRasa follows a classical Ayurvedic approach built on three principles: forest-sourced herbs, the Bhāvanā preparation process, and small-batch discipline.
Rather than focusing on mass production or instant results, each formulation is prepared patiently so that the herbs retain their vitality and integrate gently with the body’s natural rhythms.
What is the Bhāvanā process used in JeevRasa formulations?
Bhāvanā is a classical Ayurvedic preparation method where powdered herbs are repeatedly ground with herbal liquids such as fresh juices or decoctions.
This cycle of grinding, drying, and reprocessing refines the structure of the formulation and allows the qualities of the liquid medium to integrate deeply into the herbs. The result is a preparation that is gentler on digestion and more receptive to the body.
Are JeevRasa herbs sourced from forests?
Wherever ecologically responsible and appropriate, JeevRasa prioritises herbs sourced from forest regions.
Wild botanicals develop naturally through seasonal rhythms, diverse soils, and environmental stress — qualities that Ayurveda traditionally associates with deeper vitality and potency.
Do JeevRasa formulations work instantly?
No. JeevRasa formulations are designed to support the body gradually and sustainably.
Classical Ayurveda focuses on restoring balance through digestion, nourishment, and internal harmony. Because of this philosophy, JeevRasa formulations are intended as long-term supportive practices rather than instant solutions.
